2300.2.2.1 Procedure to Increase Benefit Amount

Increase the benefit amount no later than the first issuance that is ten days after the change was reported or verified , whichever occurs last .

Example : The household’s normal issuance occurs on the 1st of every month. The household reports and verifies on August 10th their income decreased by $40. With this timeframe the household’s benefit increase must be effective for September. If the household reported and verified the change on August 28th the change must be effective by October.
