2300.2.2.2 Adding Household Members and Income Decreases

Benefit increases due to: adding a new household member, who is not a member of another household, or an income decrease is effective: the first issuance that is ten days after the change was reported or verified, but no later than the month following the month the change is reported.

Process an underpayment if benefits cannot be increased by the following month. The underpayment issuance must be made available to the household by: the tenth day of the following month, or the household’s normal issuance date, whichever is later.
