1400.2.1 Procedures for Determining SCE

Determine household composition before determining SCE.

Households are SCE when all members are eligible for any of the following qualifying programs: SSI / AABD PSE Reach Ahead Reach First Reach Up Vermont EITC in the past 12 months. Household must have included a child for the tax year in which Vermont EITC was provided. Household must have a child under 18 included in their current 3SVT household.

Households are considered eligible for the qualifying programs upon approval, including when benefits: have not been received yet, are suspended, or are withheld to repay an overpayment.
