1400.1 Types of Categorical Eligibility

There are two different types of categorical eligibility: SCE and ECE . SCE and ECE households are not required to meet certain income and resource tests and have less verification requirements. Categorical eligibility applies to the household, not to the person. Households must follow and meet 3SVT rules unless specifically identified in this item.
