Additional Considerations for Financial Assistance

Strikers are not eligible for Financial Assistance. Assistance will be denied and an overpayment referred according to the reporting requirements for any month in which any household member is participating in a strike.

Assistance will be denied if there is evidence that a household member will be on strike by the last day of the month. It is the responsibility of the applicant to reapply if an anticipated strike did not occur during that month.

If the household so denied reapplies in the same month and is eligible, the original date of application will be used as the eligibility date.
