Additional Considerations for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
A household with striking members is not eligible for SNAP unless it was eligible before the strike, or would have been eligible if it had applied before the strike. A household eligible for SNAP immediately before the strike shall continue to be eligible. However, a household shall not receive an increased allotment because of a decrease in the income of the striking member of the household.
An individual exempt from work registration on the day before the strike. However, a person who was exempt because of employment but who is now on strike is still considered a striker.
If the household is eligible, the striker must comply with the work requirements of section 342 , unless the person would have been exempt (except for employment) the day before the strike.
Striker households are certified under the same rules as other households.

In addition, such individuals or organizations will not have access to SNAP or certification documents. The facilities of such individuals or organizations will not be used to certify such applicants.
