• The household does not complete the interview by June 30th. • CHIP automatically denies the case on June 30th because the household failed to complete the interview (FC).

Example: Interview is completed on Monday, July 3. Actual date of interview is coded on CHIP INRD screen and a Y is also entered in the “Completed” field to acknowledge the completion of the interview. All verification needed was submitted with “A” form therefore case should be processed the same day of the interview in order to prevent an invalid denial.

The household reported the inability to get through to the interview center on June 28th and June 30th. The office was closed due to inclement weather on June 28th, 29th and 30th. Due to Agency caused delay, July benefits should not be prorated. The household is entitled to a full month allotment for July. Timely

• When the “A” Form is registered in SCWINS with an application date of June 10th, the interview date field on CHIP INRD screen will automatically be populated with an interview date 10 days from the date of registration. The “A” form was registered on the date of receipt. • A CHIP system generated Interview Notice (X095) is sent. • The household fails to call for interview by June 20th. A CHIP system generated (X035), Notice of Missed Interview (NOMI), is sent. • The household does not call by June 30th. • CHIP automatically denies the case on June 30th because the household failed to complete the interview (FC).
