OVERVIEW This material describes records management functions which must be performed by the case manager. The records management functions described in this material include TWP file status codes, transferring cases and the proper format for the TANF Work Program TWP section of the electronic case record. TWP ELECTRONIC CASE RECORD FORMAT In addition to JAWS, the case record is a permanent source of client information. It prevents the need for repetition of information by the individual and duplicate case management activities. In order to maintain an accurate record of each participant, each case record must be complete, accurate, timely, and reflective of the individual s current status.
