B-1822-FITAP - PR SCREENING AT APPLICATION
ES screening is accomplished through the use of the DAST 20 screening form administered by staff. Prior to completion of the DAST 20 , give the client form OFS DT 1 and fully explain the purpose of drug testing policy (see B-1810-FITAP). This explanation must include an explanation of the screening referral to OBH, the cooperation requirements and the sanctions for failure to participate. After providing this information to the client, as appropriate, administer the DAST 20 either by telephone or in a face-to-face interview. If no further referral to OBH is required, enter a case note upon completion of the DAST 20.
