Volume 2 - Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) MS 9030 – R. 9/1/26 – OMTL - 708 Disaster Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (DSNAP) Fair Hearings
DSNAP households requesting a fair hearing must be given an immediate supervisory review on-site.
A. Once the review is complete, the household still has the right to request a fair hearing. If the household requests a hearing, regular hearing procedures found in Volume 1, MS 0440 are followed.
B. Hearing decisions must be made within 30 days of the request. C. If the household chooses to withdraw their request for a hearing, they may do so verbally or in writing. Verbal withdrawals must be followed up in writing.
