[Once approved for SAFE, all recipients are matched monthly to determine ongoing eligibility. Worker Portal automatically updates any changes that have occurred.

If an individual adds a spouse, but the spouse is not eligible to receive Supplemental Security Income (SSI) or is not age 60 or over, Worker Portal automatically discontinues the SAFE case.

If either household member is determined to be no longer eligible for SSI, Worker Portal automatically discontinues the SAFE case]
