6.03

Funding - Revised Amount

POLICY:

The State Agency will notify the Local Agency of its guaranteed funding amount.

PROCEDURE:

A. Notification of Guaranteed Funding Amount

The State Agency will send a letter to the Parent Agency to inform them of the guaranteed funding amount within thirty (30) days of notification from the USDA.

1. The Local Agency Director will receive a copy of the letter.

2. This will normally take place between December and February of the grant year. Change orders will be processed to increase/decrease funding if necessary.

B. Surplus of Funding Amount

The Local Agency or its Parent Agency is not allowed to retain any surplus at the end of the grant period.
