1.4.1.C SNAP Work Requirement Penalty Expires When an individual’s SNAP work requirement penalty expires, or he becomes exempt, he is added to the AG, if otherwise eligible, without having to complete an application, unless he is the sole AG member. 1.4.1.D Interim Contact Report (PRC-2) An interim contact form is a SNAP form due at the midpoint of the SNAP certification period. The purpose of the PRC-2 is for the SNAP AG to have an avenue to report changes that have occurred since the last SNAP application or redetermination. A PRC-2 is not a full redetermination.
PRC-2 Elements The SNAP AG must report the following changes on the PRC-2:
• A change in the total earned and unearned income of more than $125 from the amount last used to determine the eligibility of SNAP. • Changes in the source of income, including starting or stopping a job, or changing jobs if the job change includes a change in income of more than $125 from the amount last used to determine eligibility for SNAP. • Changes in household composition of an AG member, such as the addition or loss of an AG member. • When an Able-Bodied Adult Without Dependent’s work hours are less than 80 hours per month. o Reminder: The worker cannot screen the AG while processing the PRC-2. • Changes in residency (where the household physically lives) and/or new shelter expense amount. • Changes in the amount of child support an AG member is legally obligated to pay. Only the actual amount paid is taken into consideration when providing a deduction.
