An instruction sheet accompanies the benefit. 19.2.2 NOTIFICATION Notification is required. 19.2.2.A Approvals The eligibility system automatically issues an approval notice. In addition, instructions to the client are included with all WVSCA benefits issued from the State Office. Approval letters must not be used in place of the benefit to purchase clothing or piece goods. 19.2.2.B Denials The eligibility system automatically issues a denial notice.

NOTE: The payee should take valid identification with them at the time the benefits are redeemed. See Section 1.4.17.C for Categorical Eligibility for SNAP. Individual benefits that have been available for 365 days from the date of last use are expunged. See Section 10.3.3
