Licensing requirements.
(a)#
A nursing facility shall be licensed under s. 50.03 (1).
(b)#
Except as waived under 42 USC 1396r (d) (2) (B) (i) or found under 42 USC 1396r (d) (2) (B) (ii), a nursing facility shall meet the provisions that are applicable to nursing homes of the edition of the life safety code of the national fire protection association specified in federal regulations.
