2400.6.2.2 Failure to Complete the Interview

Households who submit their ESD 202 but do not complete their interview must have been sent: ESD 202RL; ESD 202C, allowing five days to complete their interview; ESD 202D, Notice of Missed Interview (NOMI), within 24 hours of the missed interview. The household is responsible to reschedule any missed interviews.

When issuing a NOMI, the "call before date" is: the last day of the certification period if issuing on or before adverse action, or the 30th day from the application date if issuing after adverse action.

Exception : 3SquaresVT in a SNAP households may not require an interview. See Interviews .

ACCESS closes the case for failure to complete the recertification if the interview is not completed. If the household then completes the interview and provides all verification before the end of the certification period: Determine eligibility. If eligible, reinstate the case and provide a full month’s benefits within 30 days of the application date, or ten days from the date the interview is completed, whichever is later.

Note : A new application for recertification is not required.
