1700.6.6.1 Changes Reported in Person or Over the Phone

Shelter costs should be removed starting the month after they will lose housing, or earlier if they report that costs have already ended.

Households must report any changes in their situation to have shelter costs re-added to the case.

The HSD indicator on the ADDR screen should be updated to “Y” (if eligible) in the month they become homeless or imminently homeless.
