1400.3.2 Ineligible for Expanded Categorical Eligibility (ECE)

Households are not ECE eligible when: Gross income is over 185% of the FPL. Households with no senior or disabled members are not eligible for 3SVT. Determine eligibility for households with a Senior or disabled member under regular 3SVT requirements. These households do not have a gross income test. They have a resource test and a net income test only. A member is disqualified for Intentional program violation (IPV) . The Head of Household is disqualified for failing to comply with work requirements .

Determine eligibility under regular 3SVT requirements.

Note : A household member who fails to comply with workfare is ineligible for ECE. Remaining household members are eligible for ECE.
