1300.4.1 Three Countable Month Limitation

Customers with time limited benefits work requirements who do not meet their work requirement are only eligible for three full months ( countable months ) of 3SVT benefits every three-year period.

The three-year period is the same for all customers in Vermont. The periods are: November 1, 2025 through October 31, 2028 November 1, 2028 through October 31, 2031 November 1, 2031 through October 31, 2034

The countable months are electronically tracked. When the three-month limit has been used, the customer is no longer eligible for 3SVT benefits. At the end of the three-month limit, the system automatically removes the person or closes the case. After using their initial three countable months or second three months ( the cure ), a customer must meet their time limited benefits work requirements to continue to receive 3SVT benefits.
