FEP-TP

Provides Financial assistance on a short-term basis. This is a time limited program see policy 282 .

Contains very strict participation standards to help ensure that households become self-supporting as soon as possible

Parents will share hours in eligible activities that must total 60 hours per week including;

Community work sites

Job search activities

Short-term skill training

Adult basic education

Base payment on performance and not on the application date or appointment date, both parents must complete all employment counseling requirements, including the Substance Abuse Determination Process.

If parents chose to begin participation prior to being approved for FEP-TP, they will not be paid if they are found ineligible.

Families receiving FEP-TP may also be eligible to receive Medicaid. See Medicaid Eligibility Manual .
