An interview is required at application and redetermination. Complete an interview even if the application only has the applicant’s name, address, and signature. Attempt to interview the applicant as a lobby walk-in or by making a cold call. Mail the applicant Form H1830, Application, Review, Expiration, Appointment Notice if the cold call is unsuccessful. It provides the applicant information on how to call the agency for a flexible appointment interview.
