This section has also been updated to notify the worker that the applicant may reapply at any time once cash benefits are terminated.

9.5(B) Review of Good Cause Domestic/Family Violence Waiver at Redetermination: This section has been updated to add a “NOTE” to specify that the Economic Services Workflow Unit determines good cause for child support requirements at initial application. In addition, the sentence “ES Worker must reauthorize TANF cash benefits for full month upon completion of the review” has been removed.

21.4(3) RCA/TANF Relationship (RCA Payment Level): This section has been updated to provide the RCA Payments, effective October 2025.

8.6(4) Definition/Family Cap Child (Exceptions to Benefit Cap): Entry “F” pertaining to a child born prematurely has been removed. Information from this entry is now included in Section 8.6.

8.8(3) Child Support Income (Ineligibility Procedure): The “Caution” has been removed.

8.9(1) Treatment of Minor Parent Cases (Living Arrangement of Minor Parent): This section has been removed.

8.9(2) Treatment of Minor Parent Cases (Eligibility Information Requirement): This section has been removed.

8.10 Gross and Need Standards: This section has been removed. Subsequent sections have been renumbered. Information from this section is now listed as a “NOTE in Section 8.15.

9.3 Authorized Representative: This section has been updated to remove the sentence “The AR cannot update or change the family plan.”

9.5 Termination of Cash Benefits: This section has been removed. Subsequent sections have been renumbered. Information from this section is now included in Section 9.4.

9.7(5) Reporting Changes (Verification at Redetermination): This section has been updated to remove the sentence “Unearned income must be verified if the source has changed, increased or decreased by more than $25.00.”

Revisions have been made throughout Chapter 20 (Recipient Claims) to reflect updates made by the Benefit Integrity Program Manager.
