431 13.6 (4) Thrifty Food Plan (TFP) and Maximum SNAP Allotments: This section has been revised to reflect the updates to the gross and net income limits, as well as maximum allotments according to the household sizes, effective October 1, 2022.
SNAP Tool Kit 3: SNAP Annual (12-Month) Renewal Chart: This tool kit has been revised to update the chart in order to reflect the procedures that will be in place when the interview process resumes for recertification. The number for this Tool Kit has been changed from 5 to 3 due to the removal of the following Tool Kits: Accommodation Assessment for LEP Clients (previously Tool Kit 1) and Important Points for LEP/SI Clients (previously Tool Kit 2). Subsequent Tool Kits have been renumbered accordingly.
Revisions have been made throughout Chapter 9 to reflect edits made by the Employment Services Division regarding the SNAP Employment and Training (SNAP E&T) Program. Volume 56 January 2023 7.3 (1) Citizenship and Non-citizenship Status: This section has been updated to add verbiage for clarity, to add additional policy pertaining to non-citizens who have been subjected to a severe form of trafficking, and to list qualified non-citizen statuses in two charts instead of three charts. In addition, the Ukrainian Humanitarian Parolees have been added as qualified non-citizens.
8.5 (2) Failure to Comply with SNAP Work Requirements: This section has been updated in order to list separately the case action taken in SNAP due to a TANF sanction and an unemployment compensation sanction. 11.3 (X) Earned Income (Military Pay): This section has been updated to provide a description for military pay. 11.5 (Z) Unearned Income (Pension): This section has been updated to provide a description for pension. 11.5 (CC) Unearned Income (Refugee Cash Assistance): This section has been updated to provide a description for refugee cash assistance. 11.5 (HH) Unearned Income (Retirement Benefits): This section has been updated to provide a description for retirement benefits. 11.5 (OO) Unearned Income (Social Security Administration benefits): This section has been updated to provide a description for Social Security Administration (SSA) benefits. 11.5 (PP) Unearned Income (Strike benefits): This section has been updated to provide a description for strike benefits and to add a link to Section 2.4 Strikers. 11.5 (QQ) Unearned Income (Supplemental Security Income): This section has been updated to provide a description for Supplemental Security Income (SSI). 11.5 (RR) Unearned Income (TANF benefits): This section has been updated to provide a description for TANF benefits.
