Oregon Administrative Rule(s) 461-140-0010 — Assets; Income and Resources 414-175-0030 — General Financial Eligibility Health-Related Social Needs (HRSN) Benefits Health-related social needs (HRSNs) are social and economic needs that affect your ability to maintain health and well-being. As part of the 2022-2027 1115 Medicaid Demonstration Waiver, Oregon was granted federal dollars to help pay for HRSN benefits to certain Oregon Health Plan (OHP) members who qualify. These benefits include: housing benefits, such as rental and utilities assistance; home changes for health during extreme weather, such as air conditioners and air filters; and nutrition benefit, including medically-tailored-meals and nutrition education. These benefits are provided through member’s Coordinated Care Organization (CCO), when enrolled. Not all OHP members qualify for these benefits, and eligibility is determined by the CCO. Visit the website for more information: https://www.oregon.gov/OHA/HSD/Medicaid-Policy/Pages/HRSN.aspx.
