007 RECERTIFICATION.
A household may file an application for recertification before the end of the current certification period. If an application is filed timely, eligible households receive uninterrupted benefits. Any application filed before the certification period expires is considered a recertification. Benefits are not prorated. An application filed after the certification period has expired but within 30 days following the expiration date is also considered a recertification. Since the filing date is later than the last day of the previous certification period, benefits are prorated from the date the application is filed.
