1.8 Case Record.

The case record provides eligibility data on households applying for or receiving SNAP benefits, validates agency action in the determination of the household’s eligibility and benefit level, and provides verification that justifies expending public funds on behalf of needy people. Case record documentation must support eligibility and benefit level determination. All case record information is confidential. Source: 7 CFR §272.1(e); 7 CFR §273.2(f)(6) Revised: March 2022
