F. To insure proper and timely disbursement of materials and supplies to local programs.

1. Work with other program units on centralized ordering and inventory of materials and supplies, including development of inventory software, ensuring use of approval processes.

2. Collaborate with fiscal and other program units to maintain efficient distribution activities at the Northborough location.

3. Maintain communication channels with the WIC Distribution Center to ensure availability of materials and supplies.

G. To collaborate and coordinate on program, outreach, and media activities within DPH and the Bureau of Family Health & Nutrition.

1. Collaborate and coordinate with DPH and BFHN staff on media service needs and joint initiatives, providing technical assistance, as needed.

H. To collaborate with MassIT and the Communications Team at DPH on the maintenance of the new Mass.gov website.

1. Continue to work with EHS to keep updated information and materials on the Mass WIC website.

2. Continue to collaborate and coordinate with Nutrition Division staff on ongoing updates and user’s experience improvements to the Massachusetts WIC website, www.mass.gov/wic.

3. Maintain ongoing updates to the WIC website and educational materials to ensure full compliance with Title II accessibility standards.

I. To collaborate with other program units on the organization, management, implementation, and review of ongoing operational activities and projects.

1. Collaborate with Systems and other program units to upgrade Eos to incorporate necessary modifications, including new requirements and enhancements, and other State IT projects.

2. Collaborate with other program units to analyze and provide comments on changes to WIC federal policy.

3. Work with other program units to implement and monitor the performance management system to improve program management and service quality at local programs, emphasizing health, and management outcome measures.

4. Collaborate social media posts with Nutrition to promote MassWIC initiatives.

5. Collaborate with EHS Web team and other units to respond to inquiries received through the mass.gov website.

6. Collaborate with other units to promote WIC Online Ordering.

7. Collaborate with other units to support utilization of the WIC food package.
