Cases of applicants or recipients claiming a physical or mental illness or impairment must be reviewed for consideration of time-limit exemptions or extensions due to incapacity.

II. PROCEDURES

* ES staff complete the incapacity determination using the LITE system.

NOTE: If a STEP Coach requests an incapacity determination be completed, the ES staff should take the appropriate steps to make the determination. Upon completion of the determination, person notes should be updated and an email sent to the STEP Coach. **

Refer to C-1510-FITAP to determine incapacity.
