1 of 1 I. STATEMENT OF POLICY

Verify all resources at certification, simplified report, and redetermination.

The client’s statement is accepted as verification for non-Broad Based Categorically Eligible (BBCE) households if the household’s cash on hand and liquid resources are $3000 or less.

II. PROCEDURES

If it is determined an applicant or recipient is not BBCE and has resources of more than $3,000, these resources must be cleared, requested, obtained and entered for those who are not considered to be BBCE even if other household members are BBCE.
