MS 6765 (2) D. Residency is verified at application only. Do not verify residency at a change of address unless there is reason to believe the household no longer lives in Kentucky. E. Process and document the case change action(s). F. When individuals report a change of address, advise them to complete a change of address through the post office to ensure mail is delivered to the new address. G. When an individual reports they have moved out of state, it is essential to update the case with the new out-of-state address for all relevant members. Additionally, it is necessary to change the residency status to reflect the state of their new residence. Completing these steps will enable the individual to receive their discontinuance letter, which may be required for reapplication in their new state. Note: Refer to MS 6707 for information regarding acting on changes reported after the cut-off date that affect the next month's benefits when the case is due for recertification in the next month. See MS 6710 for additional details on changes to pending applications]
