MS 3450 [2] There is no requirement for a withdrawal notice. If the recertification cannot be processed within 30 days, the household will continue to receive TSNAP while the case is being processed. If the household will receive more than the transitional benefit allotment and the transitional benefit has already been issued for that month, a supplement will be issued for the difference from the regular SNAP allotment calculated during the recertification. Only if a member of the transitional benefit period household moves out and reapplies with another household or as their own separate household will the transitional benefit amount be adjusted to remove that member’s income, resources, and deductible expenses. Prior to the end of the transitional benefit period, the household will be sent a regular recertification notice.
