To be eligible in this category, an individual must be entitled to Medicare Part A.8 There is no other blindness or disability requirement for the Specified Low-Income Medicare Beneficiary (SLMB) category. Medicaid coverage under SLMB is limited to payment of the Medicare Part B premium.9 An individual can be simultaneously eligible for SLMB and any other full coverage MA category.
