These meetings, held on [insert specific dates if available], provide a forum for coordination and alignment between SNAP E&T and the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) programs. Key outcomes of this collaboration include alignment of the SNAP E&T State Plan with WIOA strategic goals to ensure a seamless and complementary service delivery system. Together, CDHS and CWDC develop annual reporting goals to measure program performance and drive continuous improvement. The partnership also fosters initiatives aimed at expanding the populations and geographic areas served by SNAP E&T, helping to target services to underserved communities. Additionally, CDHS and the CWDC collaborate on legislative initiatives, jointly reviewing and producing proposals or responding to new State legislation that impacts workforce and SNAP E&T programs. This coordination ensures that legislative changes are addressed collectively, maximizing program effectiveness and resource use. Through this sustained consultation and partnership, CDHS and CWDC work closely to enhance service delivery, increase participant outcomes, and support Colorado’s broader workforce development goals.
