Authority: AS 47.65.050 7 AAC 79.050. Criteria for application review. In reviewing an application and making a recommendation under 7 AAC 78.090 or 7 AAC 79.030(e), the division will consider the criteria established in 7 AAC 78.100(1) — (2) and (4) — (16) and the extent to which an applicant demonstrates

(1) provisions for adequate supervision of and insurance coverage for activities conducted under the pilot project;

(2) through documentation, the desire among older Alaskans living in the area to be served by the pilot project to resolve the problems to be addressed by the pilot project; and

(3) if the applicant intends to continue the pilot project after the end of the period for which the grant is awarded, that the applicant has made plans identifying the source of financing for the pilot project after the end of that period. (a) At the time the division awards a grant under this chapter, the division will determine the amount of the contribution required of the grantee under AS 47.65.040 and will notify the grantee of that amount. The grantee may

(1) contribute the entire amount required by AS 47.65.040 before the division makes the second payment under the grant to the grantee; or

(2) prepare a written schedule of contributions and, if the division approves the schedule, make the required contribution in installments in accordance with the schedule.
