applicant’s application, the division will send a written notice to the applicant before the appropriate date specified in 7 AAC 79.030(b). (k) A grant awarded under (b)(1) of this section expires June 30, 1982. (l) A grant awarded under (b)(2) of this section expires June 30, 1982. However, the division will, in its discretion, extend the expiration date if the division determines that there is good cause for the extension. The division will not extend the expiration date of a grant awarded under (b)(2) of this section beyond June 30, 1983. (m) A grant awarded under (b)(3) of this section expires one year after the effective date of the grant. However, the division will, in its discretion, extend the expiration date if the division determines there is good cause for the extension. (a) A grantee may use a grant awarded under this chapter to pay the costs of services provided in the grantee’s pilot project. (b) A grantee may not use a grant awarded under this chapter

(1) as all or part of the required contribution under AS 47.65.040 for another grant awarded under this chapter or under AS 47.65.020;

(2) to pay the costs of capital construction;

(3) to pay for costs incurred before the award of the grant;

(4) to pay for the preparation of plans for potential or future services; or
