Title I of the Housing Act of 1949 is classified generally to subchapter II (§ 1450 et seq.) of chapter 8A of Title 42, The Public Health and Welfare. For complete classification of this Act. to the Code, see Short Title note set out under section 1441 of Title 42 and Tables volume. CODIFICATION Section, as amended by Pub. L. 94-455, contains two subsecs. (e). The first, relating to qualified scholarship funding bonds, was added by section 2105(b) of Pub. L. 94-455, which directed that subsec. (e), relating to certain cross-references, be amended to read as set out in the second of the two subsecs. (e) above, has been handled as an amendment of the existing cross-reference subsection as the prob- able intent of Congress, even though the cross-refer- ence subsection, but for the specific directory lan- guage of section 1901(a)(17)(E) of Pub. L. 94-455, would have otherwise carried the subsec. f) designa- tion under the other provisions of Pub. L. 94-455. ' Section 2137(d) of Pub. This amendment has been executed to subsec. (e) following par. (3) thereof as the probable intent of Congress notwith- standing the directory language of section 2137(d) of Pub. L. 94-455 that the new par, (24) be inserted after par. (23) of "section 103(g), as redesignated by section 1305 of this Act", since section 1305 of Pub. L. 94-455 did no redesignating and in no way involved the amendment of this section. AMENDMENTS 1976-Subsec. (a). Pub. L. 94-455, §§ 1901(a)(17)(A), 2105(a), added par.
