8.5 GOOD CAUSE FOR FAILURE TO APPLY FOR OR RETAIN BENEFITS Good cause for failure of an individual to take the necessary steps to develop or retain a resource exist when the individual is unable to take the indicated action because of circumstances beyond his control, such as, but not limited to, illness, lack of transportation, etc.
