13.5.4 DISABILITY ESTABLISHED BY RECEIPT OF RSDI – CLIENT CLAIMS BLINDNESS When an individual receives RSDI based on his disability but has earned income and would benefit from the more generous treatment of earned income available to blind persons, the Worker must pursue establishment of his blindness. The application must first be approved based on disability. The Worker proceeds with the usual processes involved in establishing blindness.
