Deductions from county income maintenance payments.

The department shall withhold the value of food stamp losses for which a county, multicounty consortium, or federally recognized American Indian tribe is liable under sub. (3) from the payment to the county, multicounty consortium, or tribe under income maintenance contracts under s. 49.78 and reimburse the federal government from the funds withheld.
