Description of the Major Program Benefits, Services, and Activities: Local W-2 agencies contract with the state administering agency for eligibility and service delivery of W-2 benefits and support services. The following expenditures include the cost of eligibility determination, local administration, and services provided to participants.

Purpose(s) of Benefit or Service Program: TANF Purposes (a): Provide assistance to needy families so that children may be cared for in their own homes or in the homes of relatives; and (b): End the dependence of needy parents on government benefits by promoting job preparation, work, and marriage.
