7.3.1 TEMP Placement Types and Participant Circumstances
There are two TEMP Trial Employment Match Program placement types, depending on an individual’s parental status:
Custodial Parent TEMP ( TMP Custodial Parent TEMP ); or
Noncustodial Parent TEMP ( TNP Noncustodial Parent TEMP ).
Individuals appropriate for a TEMP placement may:
Require a flexible schedule or other reasonable accommodations;
Have basic skills and/or education;
Not have skills that are marketable in the current labor market;
Be nearing a time limit; or
Have barriers preventing them from entering the labor market, such as; Little or no employment history; No recent employment history; or A history of failed employment.
The W-2 Wisconsin Works agency must utilize informal assessment results to identify W-2 participants who are capable of working and may be appropriate for TEMP. (See 5.2 for more information on informal assessments)
