(($621,896,000)) 5 $610,886,000 6 The appropriations in this section are subject to the following 7 conditions and limitations: 8 (1) $1,056,000 of the general fund—state appropriation for fiscal 9 year 2022 and $409,000 of the general fund—state appropriation for 10 fiscal year 2023 are provided solely for the department to implement 11 2021 revenue legislation. 12 (2)(a) $1,303,000 of the general fund—state appropriation for 13 fiscal year 2022 and $1,000,000 of the general fund—state 14 appropriation for fiscal year 2023 are provided solely for the 15 department to facilitate a tax structure work group, initially 16 created within chapter 1, Laws of 2017 3rd sp. sess. (SSB 5883) and 17 hereby reauthorized. 18 (b)(i) Members serving on the tax structure work group as of the 19 effective date of this section may continue serving on the work 20 group. Any member not wishing to continue serving on the tax 21 structure work group must provide written notice to the work group 22 and the vacancy must be filled as provided in (c) of this subsection. 23 (ii) The work group must include the following voting members: 24 (A) The president of the senate must appoint two members from 25 each of the two largest caucuses of the senate; 26 (B) The speaker of the house of representatives must appoint two 27 members from each of the two largest caucuses of the house of 28 representatives; and 29 (C) The governor must appoint one member who represents the 30 office of the governor. 31 (iii) The work group must include the following nonvoting 32 members: 33 (A) One representative of the department of revenue; 34 (B) One representative of the association of Washington cities; 35 and 36 (C) One representative of the Washington state association of 37 counties. 38 p. 853 ESSB 5187.SL
