The amounts provided in this subsection 2 must supplement private funding to support the work group. 3 (((213))) (211) $1,000,000 of the general fund—state 4 appropriation for fiscal year 2023 is provided solely for a grant to 5 a maritime education nonprofit that will support outreach, 6 recruitment, and maritime educational experiences at the new maritime 7 high school in the highline public school district including 8 developing mentorship and internship programs. Funds may be used to 9 support the school's growth to full enrollment of 400 students, to 10 pursue enrollment that reflects the diversity of the district, to aid 11 recruitment activities that will include partnering with regional 12 middle schools including hands-on learning experiences on vessels, 13 and to support curriculum that gives students STEM skills and 14 pathways to maritime careers, including in the sciences, vessel 15 operations and design, and marine construction. 16 (((214))) (212) $200,000 of the general fund—state appropriation 17 for fiscal year 2023 is provided solely to strengthen capacity of the 18 keep Washington working act work group established in RCW 43.330.510. 19 (((215))) (213) $250,000 of the general fund—state appropriation 20 for fiscal year 2022 is provided solely for the transportation demand 21 management program at the canyon park subarea in the city of Bothell. 22 (((216))) (214) $300,000 of the general fund—state appropriation 23 for fiscal year 2023 is provided solely for the department to report 24 how the department will collect demographic and geographic 25 information from organizations who receive direct or indirect grants 26 from the department. 27 (a) The department may contract to complete the report. The 28 department must collaborate with the one Washington enterprise 29 resource planning team to determine what demographic and geographic 30 data elements would be consistent with data elements in the extended 31 financials and procurement phase of one Washington. 32 (b) The report must also include accurate cost and time estimates 33 needed to collect the demographic and geographic information from 34 department grantees and their subgrantees. The department must 35 consult with the office of equity to ensure that demographic tracking 36 information can be used to help create an accurate definition of "by 37 and for organizations."
