(($100,118,000)) 10 $99,918,000 11 The appropriations in this section are subject to the following 12 conditions and limitations: $200,000 of the general fund—state 13 appropriation for fiscal year 2023 is provided solely for a work 14 group to continue the house of representatives' examination of 15 employment practices and policies and to develop options and 16 recommendations for the house of representatives. 17 (a) The work group is composed of the following members: 18 (i) Two legislative assistants from each of the two largest 19 caucuses of the house of representatives; 20 (ii) One nonsupervisory staff and one supervisory staff from each 21 of the two largest caucuses of the house of representatives; 22 (iii) One committee assistant, one coordinator, one analyst or 23 counsel, and one administrative staff from the house of 24 representatives office of program research; 25 (iv) One nonsupervisory staff and one supervisory staff from the 26 house of representatives administration; 27 (v) The chief clerk of the house of representatives or their 28 designee; and 29 (vi) The house of representatives human resource director. 30 (b) Staff who wish to be appointed to the work group must submit 31 an application to the office of human resources. The house of 32 representatives human resource officer shall make recommendations to 33 the house of representatives executive rules committee who shall then 34 confirm appointments to the work group. 35 (c) The chief clerk of the house of representatives shall 36 contract for an external facilitator to staff and assist the work 37 group.
