Prior to the allocation of funding from this subsection 12 (1), the requesting agency and the office of financial management 13 must comply with the provisions of RCW 43.88.250. 14 (2) $2,500,000 of the general fund—state appropriation for fiscal 15 year 2024 and $2,500,000 of the general fund—state appropriation for 16 fiscal year 2025 are provided for individual assistance consistent 17 with RCW 38.52.030(9) during an emergency proclaimed by the governor, 18 as defined in RCW 38.52.010. The office of financial management must 19 notify the fiscal committees of the legislature of the receipt by the 20 governor or adjutant general of each application or request for 21 individual assistance from the amounts provided in this subsection 22 (2). The office of financial management may not approve or release 23 funding for 10 business days from the date of notification to the 24 fiscal committees of the legislature. 25 NEW SECTION. Sec. 706.
