(8) $45,000 of the general fund—state appropriation for fiscal 1 year 2024 and $45,000 of the general fund—state appropriation for 2 fiscal year 2025 are provided solely for one full-time mental health 3 counselor licensed under chapter 18.225 RCW who has experience and 4 training specifically related to working with active members of the 5 military or military veterans. 6 (9) $300,000 of the workforce education investment account—state 7 appropriation is provided solely to establish a center for inclusive 8 excellence for faculty and staff. 9 (10) $536,000 of the workforce education investment account—state 10 appropriation is provided solely for a professional masters of 11 science cyber operations degree option. 12 (11) $2,144,000 of the workforce education investment account— 13 state appropriation is provided solely for the operation of a 14 bachelor of science in cybersecurity degree option through the 15 computer science program. 16 (12) $2,108,000 of the workforce education investment account— 17 state appropriation is provided solely for the operation of a 18 coordinated care network that will help to maximize the collaboration 19 of various student support services to create wraparound care for 20 students to address obstacles to degree completion. The amount 21 provided in this subsection must be used to supplement, not supplant, 22 other funding sources for the program. 23 (13) $532,000 of the general fund—state appropriation for fiscal 24 year 2024 and $940,000 of the general fund—state appropriation for 25 fiscal year 2025 are provided solely for compensation support. 26 (14) $4,598,000 of the workforce education investment account— 27 state appropriation is provided solely to expand faculty and staff to 28 create a cohort of 80 students in the bachelor of nursing program. 29 (15) $476,000 of the workforce education investment account—state 30 appropriation is provided solely for the continued implementation of 31 RCW 49.60.525 (racial restrictions/review). 32 (16) $110,000 of the general fund—state appropriation for fiscal 33 year 2024 and $110,000 of the general fund—state appropriation for 34 fiscal year 2025 are provided solely for a summer bridge program. 35 (17) $500,000 of the workforce education investment account—state 36 appropriation is provided solely for the establishment of a 37 university mathematics, engineering, and science achievement program. 38 p. 580 ESSB 5187.SL
