(99) $2,500,000 of the general fund—state appropriation for 1 fiscal year 2024, $2,500,000 of the general fund—state appropriation 2 for fiscal year 2025, and $5,000,000 of the opioid abatement 3 settlement account—state appropriation are provided solely for the 4 authority to expand efforts to provide opioid use disorder medication 5 in city, county, regional, and tribal jails. 6 (100) $1,400,000 of the general fund—state appropriation for 7 fiscal year 2024 and $1,400,000 of the general fund—state 8 appropriation for fiscal year 2025 are provided solely for behavioral 9 health administrative service organizations to develop regional 10 recovery navigator program plans pursuant to chapter 311, Laws of 11 2021 (ESB 5476), and to establish positions focusing on regional 12 planning to improve access to and quality of regional behavioral 13 health services with a focus on integrated care. 14 (101) $75,000 of the general fund—state appropriation for fiscal 15 year 2024 and $75,000 of the general fund—state appropriation for 16 fiscal year 2025 are provided solely for the authority to contract 17 with an organization with expertise in supporting efforts to increase 18 access to and improve quality in recovery housing and recovery 19 residences. This funding shall be used to increase recovery housing 20 availability through partnership with private landlords, increase 21 accreditation of recovery residences statewide, operate a grievance 22 process for resolving challenges with recovery residences, and 23 conduct a recovery capital outcomes assessment for individuals living 24 in recovery residences. 25 (102) $500,000 of the general fund—state appropriation for fiscal 26 year 2024, $500,000 of the general fund—state appropriation for 27 fiscal year 2025, and $4,000,000 of the opioid abatement settlement 28 account—state appropriation are provided solely for the authority to 29 provide short-term housing vouchers for individuals with substance 30 use disorders. 31 (103) $200,000 of the general fund—state appropriation for fiscal 32 year 2024 and $200,000 of the general fund—state appropriation for 33 fiscal year 2025 are provided solely for the authority to convene and 34 provide staff and contracted services support to the recovery 35 oversight committee established in chapter 311, Laws of 2021 (ESB 36 5476). 37 (104) $2,565,000 of the general fund—state appropriation for 38 fiscal year 2024 and $2,565,000 of the general fund—state 39 p. 288 ESSB 5187.SL
