(a) $852,000 of the workforce education investment account—state 1 appropriation is provided solely for expanding career connected 2 learning as provided in RCW 28C.30.020. 3 (b) $960,000 of the workforce education investment account—state 4 appropriation is provided solely for increasing the funding per full- 5 time equivalent for career launch programs as described in RCW 6 28A.700.130. In the 2021-2023 fiscal biennium, for career launch 7 enrollment exceeding the funding provided in this subsection, funding 8 is provided in section 504 of this act. 9 (c) $500,000 of the workforce education investment account—state 10 appropriation is provided solely for the Federal Way school district 11 to establish pre-apprenticeship pathways and career connected 12 learning programs in the skilled trades in Federal Way. 13 (d) $1,500,000 of the workforce education investment account— 14 state is provided solely for Marysville school district to 15 collaborate with Arlington school district, Everett Community 16 College, other local school districts, local labor unions, local 17 Washington state apprenticeship and training council registered 18 apprenticeship programs, and local industry groups to continue the 19 regional apprenticeship pathways program. 20 (e) $3,600,000 of the workforce education investment account— 21 state appropriation is provided solely for the office of the 22 superintendent of public instruction to administer grants to skill 23 centers for nursing programs to purchase or upgrade simulation 24 laboratory equipment. 25 Sec. 1502. 2022 c 297 s 504 (uncodified) is amended to read as 26 follows: 27 FOR THE SUPERINTENDENT OF PUBLIC INSTRUCTION—FOR GENERAL 28 APPORTIONMENT 29 General Fund—State Appropriation (FY 2022). . . . . . $9,481,252,000 30 General Fund—State Appropriation (FY 2023). . . .
