How is childcare paid for? Direct payment to provider Reimbursement to participants Provider voucher Contract for dependent care Other If dependent care agencies have a waiting list or otherwise cap the number of enrolled dependents, how will the State agency ensure E&T participants with dependent care needs receive dependent care? There is no waitlist or Cap for Washington State Department of Children, Youth and Families Child Care services. In some instances, when a participant is deemed ineligible there are other groups that may pay for child care, such as King County or the City of Seattle. How does the State agency ensure that the participant has the necessary participant reimbursements to begin participation in the E&T program? The requirement for BFET providers discussing the types of participant reimbursements available at their agencies will remain a standard part of the BFET program requirements. Once enrolled, the provider and participant discusses the individual needs and participant reimbursement available. BFET providers determine what participant reimbursements they will provide as part of the contracting process annually. 1/29/26, 10:29 AM State Plan WA FY26 - Original Submission https://dam-fns.usda.gov/sites/default/files/microsite/snapet-wafy26stateplan//index.html 45/309
