Qualified immigrants
A qualified immigrant who is exempt from, or who has met, the 5-year bar is potentially eligible for federally-funded Apple Health (Medicaid) programs. A qualified immigrant who is not exempt or has not yet met the 5-year bar is potentially eligible for state-funded Apple Health programs if they are a child, pregnant, or they have a qualifying medical emergency under the Alien Emergency Medical (AEM) program as described under WAC 182-507-0110 .
